Zana Clearwater.
Zana Clearwater is a dedicated individual with a diverse range of experiences and a passion for making a difference.
When Zana’s son was at Primary School she was a coach of futsal and football and actively participated in the Anderson Bay Primary School PTA. She is a co-founding member and current committee member of the Holden Alley Club and volunteers as part of the Club at the Otago Rally and other charitable events. Zana has demonstrated her commitment to her community and interests outside of work. As a mother to Cohen, Zana understands the importance of balancing work and family life.
Zana's legal career began in Gore, where she worked her way up from a receptionist to a Legal Executive while studying for her papers. Her move to Dunedin in 1993 led her to Farry & Co, where she spent 7.5 years before joining Downie Stewart.
Driven by her initial interest sparked during her time as an office junior, Zana enjoys the autonomy of her work, the supportive environment, and the direct interaction with clients. Specialising in conveyancing, commercial transactions and trusts, Zana thrives on tackling complex challenges and finding solutions for her clients.
Outside of work, Zana enjoys gardening, travelling, attending car shows, and cruising with her friends from the Holden Club. She cherishes quality time with her family, particularly her son Cohen and husband Ross.
With her wealth of experience and unwavering dedication, Zana brings a valuable perspective and work ethic to our team at Downie Stewart.
